Lititz Funeral Home Joins The Buch Funeral Family

Three Locations Now Serve the Lancaster Area

Theodore “Ted” Beck announced that the Richard H. Heisey Funeral Home on Broad Street in Lititz has joined the Buch Family of Funeral Homes. After 40 years of serving Lititz and the surrounding community, Dick and Marilyn Heisey will be passing ownership of the funeral home to Ted Beck and Aaron Abbott to continue their legacy.

The new Buch~Heisey Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Lititz will join the existing Buch Family of Funeral Home locations in Manheim and Mount Joy. “By adding the Lititz funeral home, we believe that we are giving families in this area a real choice,” explained Ted Beck. “We’re doing improvements to ensure that our facility, along with the services we offer, are second to none.”

The purchase is a reunification of a funeral service legacy founded by Thaddeus S. Beck in 1898. At the time, the Lititz funeral home and the Manheim location were both under the ownership of Thaddeus Beck.

Ted Beck, Supervisor at the Lititz funeral home, will serve families at both the Manheim and Lititz locations. Aaron Abbott has been promoted to Supervisor of the Manheim location and will also serve as a licensed director in Lititz. Anne Heisey Brubaker will continue to help families as Service Coordinator. Dick and Marilyn Heisey will help out when needed.
