Thanks to a contribution from Buch Funeral Home the Milanof-Schock Library in Mount Joy will expand its selection of large print books. This is the fifth year in a row that Buch Funeral Home has made a donation to help the library expand their permanent lending collection.
This year’s donation has enabled the library to purchase large print fiction and non-fiction titles, as well as some biographies. Previously, the library had a limited number of large print books available for patrons.
Paul Gardner, Supervisor for the Mount Joy location, is proud of Buch’s commitment to the local community. “It is a privilege for Buch Funeral Home to be able to help the library - a resource that’s essential to our community,” said Gardner. “We’ve been a longtime supporter of the Milanof-Schock Library and we are pleased to be able to help in expanding their reading collection,” he said.
