Tallmadge, Ohio

 Vivian V. Snavely, 97, of Tallmadge, Ohio, and formerly of Manheim, died peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Danbury Woods of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Louis Jr. and Gladys Frey Williams. She was the loving wife of the late Martin D. Snavely who died in January of 2002. In her early days Vivian worked in the shipping department for a sewing manufacturing company in Mount Joy. She was an active and faithful member of Manheim Grace Brethren Church; where she served as a Sunday, school teacher, Awana Leader, and Vacation Bible School teacher for over 50 years. Vivian loved traveling to the Beach, hunting Sea Shells, and collecting hundreds of Longaberger Baskets that she would frequently give as gifts to friends. Vivian’s life’s passion was witnessing to everyone she would meet on her walk of faith, and showing her heartfelt love for Jesus and His love for everyone. 

 Surviving are three daughters, Patsy A. Klugh of Pottstown, Dorene S. wife of Daniel B. Young of Tallmadge, OH, Sherry J. wife of Brian Baxter of Columbia, a son, Dennis M. Snavely of Manheim, six grandchildren: Bryan husband of Julie Klugh, Sean husband of Amanda Klugh, Michelle wife of Jim Willard, Jonathan husband of Sidney Rohrer, Stephanie Hampton, Justin M. Wagner, eighteen great grandchildren: Colin, Brenden, Anna Grace, Ben, Victoria, Serena, Kendall, Kimber, Kailyn, Killian, Lauren, Jessica, McKenzie, Faith, Steven, Nash, Axel, Kane, and a brother, Atwell “Junior” Guy of Arizonia. She was preceded in death by one brother, Fred Barkley, and three sisters: June Treat, Jerry Powers, Dorothy “Dot” Adams.

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Vivian’s Funeral Service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 10:30 AM. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday morning from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Manheim Fairview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Vivian’s memory to Traditions Health (Hospice) 207 Portage Trail, Ext. West, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, 44224.
