Violet F. Williams, 92, of Mount Joy, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, while surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Donald Webb “Buch” Williams, Sr., who passed away in 1998.
Born in Conoy Township, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd B. and Margaret E. (Halbleib) Ebersole.
Violet was a life-long resident of Mount Joy. A faithful and hard worker, over the years she stripped tobacco, worked in a handkerchief factory, and she worked for Donegal Industries, Simplee Seafood Diner, and Mount Joy Diner. In her spare time, Violet loved to plant flowers and keep a flower bed each year.
She is survived by her daughters, Naomi (Dennis) Wenger and Juanita Schiano, both of Mount Joy, Harlene “Janie” (James) Graham, of Quarryville, and Nan Williams, of Columbia; sons, Donald Williams, Jr., of Mastersonville, Ronald Williams, of Lititz, and Gerald Williams, of Lebanon. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 29 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, David H., Norman C., Jay R., Harry J., and Lloyd B. Ebersole, Jr., and sisters, Anna Wilkerson and Dorothy Hernandez.
As per violet’s wishes, services and interment will be private.
