Thomas E. "Tom" Snader, 84, of Lititz, formerly of Akron and Manheim, passed into the arms of Jesus peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Nevo West and Norman B. Snader.

Tom shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Linda L. (Shupp) Snader. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage in November 2025, building a home centered on faith, love, and devotion to family.

A 1959 graduate of Manheim Central High School, Tom later earned an Associate's Degree from Millersville University and worked for many years as a Computer Systems Analyst for Covance Research Products in Denver. Earlier in life, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.

Tom was a faithful and active member of Calvary Church in Lancaster, where he lived out his servant's heart by volunteering and helping others whenever there was a need. He never hesitated to lend a hand, offer encouragement, or quietly serve those around him.

One of Tom's greatest joys was baseball. A lifelong and devoted Philadelphia Phillies fan, he rarely missed a game and faithfully followed the "Fightin' Phillies" through every season—the victories, the disappointments, and everything in between. His favorite hobby was playing APBA Baseball, the classic tabletop card game that brought together his love of the sport, statistics, and friendly competition. For many years he participated in leagues that led to some of his longest lasting friendships. For him, APBA was more than just a game—it was a lifelong hobby that combined strategy, fellowship, and an enduring passion for baseball.

Above all else, Tom was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He took great pride in his family and treasured every opportunity to spend time with them. His steady presence, kind spirit, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, Linda, Tom is survived by two sons: Bryan, husband of Tina Snader, of Denver, and Brent, husband of Melinda Snader, of Nashville, Tennessee; five beloved grandchildren, Jessica, Jarod, Julia, Anna, and Asha; and two half-sisters, Karen, wife of Jim Bail, of Toledo, Ohio, and Deborah, wife of Jerry Schaeffer, of New Mexico. Tom was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Meiskey of Front Royal, VA.

Tom's legacy of faith, kindness, generosity, and love for his family will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the service to celebrate Tom’s life in the Chapel at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Road, Lancaster, on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
