Teresa L. Myers

Teresa L. “Terri” Myers, 65, of Mount Joy, passed away on Monday, February 23, 2026, while under the care of Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. She was the beloved wife of Douglas J. Myers, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage.

Born in Lancaster and raised in Salunga, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Redcay and Linda (Rodgers) Redcay-Beatty.

Terri was a graduate of Hempfield High School, class of 1979. She was employed by M&M Mars for 19 years, where she enjoyed working on several production lines in the plant. In her spare time, Terri looked forward to taking care of the yard, flower bed, and garden every summer, crocheting blankets for her grandchildren, and she loved to read, especially novels by James Patterson. A mother at heart, Terri deeply loved her children and grandchildren. Christian in Faith, she found her faith growing up attending Chiques Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Gabriel (Nikki) Myers, of Strasburg, and Daniel (Amanda) Myers, of Manheim, a brother, Arthur (Joyce) Redcay, of Roseburg, OR, and a sister, Tracye (Robert) Fenton, of Lancaster, grandchildren, Lexus, William, Michele, Darren, and Jordyn, and great-granddaughter, Oaklynn.

A Celebration of Terri’s life will be held at 7:00 PM in the Parish Hall of Chiques Methodist Church, 1215 East Main Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552, on Tuesday, March 3, with a time of fellowship to follow. Please dress casually. Interment will be private.

The family expresses their sincere appreciation to Hospice & Community Care for their excellent care for Terri following her recent stroke.
