Steven L. Nissley

Steven L. Nissley, 51, of Manheim passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of G. Elaine (Martin) Nissley Witmer wife of David Witmer of Stevens and the late John D. Nissley. Steven worked as a heavy equipment operator for New Enterprise, Honey Brook. He was a member of New Covenant Mennonite Fellowship, New Holland. An avid sports enthusiast, Steven also enjoyed reading, playing table games and he loved to spend time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his mother and step-father are three brothers, Michael Nissley of Houtzdale, Joel husband of Keri Nissley of Manheim, Randall husband of Melanie Nissley of Ephrata, a sister, Sherri wife of Ernest Zimmerman of Talco, TX, a sister-in-law, Andrea wife of Nelson Rutt of Ephrata and numerous nieces and nephews. Also survived by, nine step siblings and their spouses. He was preceded in death by a foster brother, Julio Napoleonis.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Steven’s Funeral Service at New Covenant Mennonite Fellowship, 529 Farmersville Road, New Holland on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the church on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and again at the church on Thursday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Steven’s memory to Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, 3026 Mt. Hope Home Road, Manheim, PA 17545.
