Stephen J. “Steve” Paulin, 73, of Manheim, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Born in Holyoke, MA, he was the son of the late Stephen and Eleanor Gavaletz Paulin. He was a 1970 graduate of Hempfield High School, and worked in the food production and warehousing departments for the Kellogg Company, Lancaster. Steve proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He loved to travel and root for the Philadelphia Eagles Football Team. He had a deep passion for the outdoors. Steve loved hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. You could find him throughout any time of the year hiking any Pennsylvania Game Lands, Middle Creek Wildlife Area, Conowingo Trails, or Blue Marsh Area Trails. He found his home on hiking trails and being with his family that he cherished.
Surviving are two sons: Jason Michael Paulin of Lititz, Kevin Stephen Paulin fiancée of Andrea Matthews of Russiaville, IN, a daughter, Jennifer Paulin Armstead wife of Donald Armstead of Fishers, IN, seven grandchildren, three sisters: Eleanor Schopf of Lancaster, Terry wife of Michael Stauffer of Lancaster, Roxanne wife of Richard Ankenbrant of Schuylkill Haven, and a brother, Michael Paulin of Schuylkill Haven. Preceding him in death is a sister, Susan Leiby.
Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
