Stephen D. Novak

Stephen D. Novak, 31, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 15, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he was the beloved son of Patricia Williams Novak of York and the late Richard Novak. The ninth of ten children, Stephen will be remembered for his tender heart, playful presence, and lumberjack spirit.

Surviving are eight siblings: Philip (April) and Andrew (Tanya) Novak, both of Montana; Priscilla Novak of Kensington, MD; Naomi Brown (Waylon) of York; Martha Williams of Landisville; Mary Fields (Joseph) of York; Benjamin Novak (Erika) of Lancaster; and Abigail Arya (Daniel) of San Antonio, TX; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved Tara Egrie of Berwick. He was preceded in death by his sister Rachel Novak and brother-in-law Daniel Williams.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 1:00 PM at New Covenant Christian Church, 253 Charlestown Road, Washington Boro. Visitation begins at 12:30 PM. Interment will follow at Creswell Cemetery, Conestoga.
