Shirley E. Tuscan

Shirley E. Tuscan, 91, of Lititz, and formerly of Manheim, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at the United Zion Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Mildred Goda Ditzler. She was the loving wife of the late Robert F. Tuscan who died in April of 2021 following 68 years of marriage. For many years Shirley work for the Manheim Auto Auction. Shirley was a member of the Manheim Historical Society and enjoyed working with crafts.

Surviving are two sons: Michael R. husband of Alleese S. Tuscan, Richard P. husband of Bette J. Tuscan all of Manheim, a daughter, Tamara S. “Tammy” Gibson-Hodgen of Lancaster, 16 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and a sister, Linda Heil of Lancaster. Preceding her in death is a daughter, Teresa Tuscan Berryhill, a brother, Paul Ditzler, a sister, Susan Ditzler and a son-in-law, Dave Hodgen.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Shirley’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
