Shirley A. Rahe

            Shirley A. Rahe, 78, of Mount Joy passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Pleasant View Communities, Manheim. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Dorothy Kaley Brown. She was the loving wife of the late Loren L. “Pete” Rahe who died in 2008. Shirley retired as a plant manager after 40 years at the former Autokraft Box Company, Mount Joy. She also worked for Nationwide Insurance Company, Elizabethtown and Oak Leaf Manor North, Landisville. Shirley was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mount Joy and Young at Hearts, Lancaster. She loved animals, especially her cats.

            Surviving are two siblings, Dennis L. Brown and Kimberly A. wife of Mitchell Maurer both of Mount Joy.

            Funeral Services for Shirley will take place at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 West Main Street, Mount Joy on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in Henry Eberle Cemetery, Mount Joy.
