Ruth A. Sinniger

Ruth A. Sinniger, 87, of Elizabethtown and formerly of Manheim passed away on Saturday April 25, 2026 at the Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born in Penn Township, she was the daughter of the late J. Arthur and Ethel Geib Ruhl. She was the wife of the late Earl R. Sinniger who died in 2006. In her earlier years, Ruth worked in the cafeteria for the Manheim Central School District and she also worked at Masonic Village as a server in the Grand Lodge Hall. She was a member of Ruhl’s United Methodist Church, Manheim where she was involved in the sewing circle and helped with fellowship meals. Ruth enjoyed flower gardening and she loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving are two sons, Rodney E. husband of Kay (Breneman) Sinniger and John R. husband of Ruth (Funck) Sinnger both of Manheim, two daughters, Cindy L. wife of Martin Enck of Elizabethtown and Barbara A. Patrick of Manheim, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a brother, J. Arthur Ruhl of Manheim and four sisters, Pauline Ruhl of Manheim, Betty Chapman of Elizabethtown, Doris Good of Mount Joy and Patricia Habacker of Lititz. She was preceded in death by a brother, J. Robert Ruhl and a sister, Alverta Fox.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ruth’s Memorial Service at Ruhl’s United Methodist Church, 4810 Elizabethtown Road, Manheim on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service. Interment will be private in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Ruth’s memory to Masonic Village Hospice, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
