Ronald E. Ellmaker

            Ronald E. “Ron” Ellmaker, 76, of Manheim, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2024 at Neffsville Nursing & Rehabilitation. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Fred M. Sr. and Anna Mary Bender Ellmaker. Ron was self-employed owning Ron’s Recon Shop. He reconditioned/detailed anything from construction equipment, fire trucks, boats and auto vehicles. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed spending time in the mountains. He liked to cheer on the 49ers and loved anything to do with racing and cars. He also loved to cook and make everyone laugh. 

            Surviving are two sons: Jack husband of Amy Roth, Ronald E. Jr. husband of Karen Ellmaker, a daughter, Heidi wife of Brent Hollinger all of Manheim, six grandchildren: Cassandra, Jay, Hope, Haylee, Colton, and Lucas and four siblings: Fred Jr. husband of Theresa Ellmaker, Kenneth husband of Carol Ellmaker, Barry husband of Catherine Ellmaker and Sue wife of John Lutchkus. He was preceded in death by five siblings: Kay Yockey, Patricia Hartman, Donald, Connie, and Sarah Jane Ellmaker.

            Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ron’s Graveside Service at Ruhl’s United Methodist Cemetery, 4810 Elizabethtown Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
