Rodney C. Gatchell

Rods loving and generous spirit was unexpectedly called Home and was embraced by our Heavenly Father on March 7, 2010. His last weekend on earth he spent doing two of the three things that he said he loved and valued the most: Spending cherished time with beautiful wife, Jo Ann, and walking their dog Wizard together. His other greatest joy would come with the arrival of Spring, mowing grass and helping others with their lawns and landscaping.

Rods loving and thoughtful spirit, graced by his beautiful smile, will be greatly missed by his family, who loved him so much; his wife Jo Ann, and his sons Craig Gatchell; Brent, Evan, and Allen Becker; Ryan Forry, and daughters, Nicki Schulz and Michelle Mellinger. Rodney was born on July 7, 1957 to his parents Rosalie Miller and the late William Gatchell. His sisters are Robin, Beth, and Patti; and his brother, Terry. He worked for Lezzer Lumber where he forged many close friendships with his co-workers. He was appreciated by many for his loyalty, dependability, and easy-going nature.
