Rocheal Lynn McDaniel

Rocheal L. McDaniel, 59, of Hallam, formerly of Smithsburg, MD, and Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 6, 2026. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Larry E. and Lois A. (Trout) Ibach, of Lancaster.

Rocheal grew up in Conestoga Township and was a 1985 graduate of Penn Manor High School. She went on to attend YTI and earn a certificate in business. For many years, Rocheal worked in nursing homes as a CNA. Most recently, she was a billing manager for Spectrum Support, Inc.

In her spare time, Rocheal enjoyed going to auctions, antiquing, and visiting Nob Hill in Potter County. A loving mother and grandmother, she was passionate about spending time with and caring for her children and grandchildren. Rocheal was her grandchildren’s biggest fan when she attended their sporting events.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sons, Scott (Damaris) Stubbe, Jr., of Lancaster, and Larry Stephan Stubbe, of York; a daughter, Kaitlyn Ibach, of Columbia; sisters, Lisa (Brian) Acken, of Pittsboro, NC, and Jennifer (Alfred) Wright, of East Fallowfield Township, Chester County; a brother, Jeff (Grace) Ibach, of Leola; grandchildren, Cassidy, Kaeson, Kamden, Kensington, Killian, and Delaney; and her husband, Mark E. McDaniel, of Smithsburg, MD.

Services and interment will be private.
