Robert Zajac

Robert “Bob” Zajac, 79, of Mount Joy, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late John and Marie Antosh Zajac. He was the loving husband of Linda Miller Dickson and they observed their 16th wedding anniversary this past year. Bob retired as a program specialist for the Lighthouse Vocational Services; New Holland and he was a teacher for the IU13 School District. He was a member of Lake View Bible Church, Manheim and proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. An avid outdoorsman, Bob enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Aimee Zajac of Sinking Spring and Kris husband of Rachel Zajac of Denver, nine grandchildren, Silas, Karis, Alexis, Gabby, Asher, Isaac, Breianna, Brianna and Olivia, Bob’s first wife and friend, Joyce Zajac and two siblings, Thomas Zajac of Huntington Beach, CA and Maryanne Burkhart of Denver. He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Dickson, brother-in-law, Wil Burkhart and sister-in-law, Sally Zajac.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Bob’s Memorial Service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 3:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
