Robert E. “Bob” Rambler, Jr., 68, of Manheim, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 28, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Sandra R. (Tawes) Rambler, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Betty (Gifford) Rambler, of York, and the late Robert E. Rambler, Sr.
Bob was a graduate of Mount Joy Vocational Technical School and Manheim Central High School, class of 1976. He had a life-long career as an automotive technician, retiring from Frederick Chevrolet with 41 years of service.
In his spare time, Bob was very active in side-by-side shooting, and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and hiking the Adirondack Mountains. He was a member of the L.C. Smith Collectors Association, the Virginia Vintagers, and the Manheim Sportsmen’s Association.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter, Stacey Conrad, wife of Tommy; sons, Shawn Rambler, fiancé of Laura Hartl, and Christopher Rambler; grandchildren, Kylee, Benjamin, Autumn, and Katelynn Conrad; and a sister, Deborah Goretzke Styer, wife of Travis.
A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, April 16, at Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square Manheim, PA 17545, with a time of visitation from 1 PM to 2 PM. Interment will be private.
