Richard E. “Dick” Weidler, 91, of Ephrata, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at the Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Rothsville, he was the son of the late Monroe and Alice Ernst Weidler. He was a member of the Cannon Hunting Camp in Clinton County for 68 years and was the last of the original members of the camp. Dick collected belt buckles, Zippo Lighters, and hat pins for years. He also enjoyed doing lawn work, growing flowers, and watching boxing. He was a good artist and this past summer he and his wife started advanced coloring books. Dick had a life-long passion for his family. He will be missed by his beloved cats: Mittens and Nikki. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the physicians and nursing staff at the Lancaster General Hospital for the care Dick received during his month long stay at the hospital.

Clair of Stevens, two grandchildren: Ashley Lynn Clair, Heather Ann Clair, a brother, Russell Weidler of Lexington and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death is a son, Richard E.
