Penny J. Wenger

Penny J. Wenger, 63, of Manheim, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 2, 2026. She was the wife of John L. Wenger, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.

Born in Lancaster and raised in Bainbridge, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Jean (Young) Kissinger.

Penny made a career in personal care, caring for her parents and others for many years, and she maintained Airbnb properties. In her spare time, Penny enjoyed gardening and growing flowers. She especially enjoyed being a grandmother and she adored her grandson, Landen, whom she affectionately named “Moonpie”.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Sandra Wenger, wife of Dan Winters, of Landisville, and Nicole Wenger, of Manheim; a grandson, Landen Wenger, of Manheim; brothers, Steve Kissinger, of Bainbridge, and Bruce Kissinger, of North Carolina; sisters, Kathy Miller, wife of Glenn, of Elizabethtown, Vicki Flowers, of Bainbridge, and Bonnie Brandt, wife of Clay, of Elizabethtown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Corrine Wenger.

Services and interment will be private.
