Paul H. Bruckhart, Jr., 77, of Manheim, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at Pleasant View Communities, Manheim. Born in Manheim, he was the son of the late Paul H. Sr. and Alma Shank Bruckhart. He was the loving husband of Diane L. Smith Bruckhart and they observed their 41st wedding anniversary this past August. Paul was a 1966 graduate of Manheim Central High School. Retired in 2025, Paul was the plumbing service manager at Brubaker, Inc., for 50 years. Paul was a member of East Fairview Church, Manheim where he served as Deacon, taught Sunday school, and was a member of the cemetery board. He enjoyed hunting, camping, watching Steelers football and Phillies baseball, listening to oldies music, and spending time with his family. A cherished accomplishment was visiting every state park in Pennsylvania with his beloved wife.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Diane, are two sons, Adam M. husband of Lauren Klarsch Bruckhart, Timothy P. husband of Steffie Sauder Bruckhart, both of Lititz, five grandchildren, August, Audrey, Landon, Colton, and Kylie, a brother, Gene husband of Linda Bruckhart of Manheim, and four sisters, Amy wife of Mark Hollinger of New Holland, Kathryn wife of Ronald Kline of Troy, Linda wife of Carl Fahnestock, and Sue wife of Barry Weidman , both of Manheim, and a sister-in-law, Sharon wife of Nevin Rentzel. He was preceded in death by a brother, J. Robert Bruckhart.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Paul’s Funeral Service at East Fairview Church, 1187 Fairview Road, Manheim on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the church on Tuesday evening from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM and again on Wednesday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment in adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Paul’s memory to East Fairview Cemetery Association or East Fairview Benevolence Fund, both at 1187 Fairview Road, Manheim, PA 17545. https://www.eastfairview.com/give
