Nina L. Dougherty, 79, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at Neffsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Walnut Ridge, AR, she was the daughter of the late Emmett and Vivian Harmon. She was of the Catholic faith. She was a homemaker most of her life and known for her spunky spirit. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, gardening, but her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Surviving is a daughter Sherry Rice, fiancé of Christopher Gagliano, of Selinsgrove, PA; a son George “Eddie” Sartain, and his wife Lura Lea of Sacramento, CA; six grandchildren; Jeffrey Rice, Scotty Rice, Susan Sartain, Jessika Sartain, Douglas Sartain, Wesley Sartain; and four great grandchildren; Carson Rice, Lauren Rice, Xander Rice and Brayden Badeker. She was predeceased by two sons: James Sartain and Wesley “Tom” Sartain Jr.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
