Michael L. Fryberger

Michael L. “Cowboy Mike” Fryberger, 59, of Mount Joy, died unexpectedly, Monday, February 27, 2023, at Spring Creek Rehabilitation & Health Care Center, Harrisburg.  He was the widower of Mary Yordy, who died in 2022.  Born In Lancaster he is the son of Caroll (Snavely) Kling of Lancaster. Mike was employed at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital in the Environmental Services Division.  He enjoyed attending his weekly AA meetings, and was proud of his 31 years of sobriety.  As his nickname reveals, Mike was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and enjoyed watching them on television.

     Surviving is a daughter, Heather wife of Kevin Wallace, Elizabethtown; a son Michael C. husband of Ashley Fryberger, Lebanon; five grandchildren Lily, Nikolai, Parker, Carter, Kolby; and a sister Kathy Mazuk, Maryland. 

     Services for “Cowboy Mike” will be private and at the convenience of the family.
