Mary Stahl Griffith

Mary Stahl Griffith, 89, of Maytown passed away peacefully at her home at Paramount Senior Living on June 21, 2025. Mary was born April 12, 1936 in Lower Swatara Township to the late Daniel Lehman and Esther Theal and spent much of her life in Mount Joy and Elizabethtown. In addition to caring for her children and grandchildren, Mary was a nurse at Dauphin County Prison, a sales associate at Fashion Bug, and a nanny for the Deluca Family. She was an avid reader and loved flowers, the beach, and Elvis Pressley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Griffith, daughter, Jeanne Dellinger, son Donald Stahl, brother Robert Lehman, sisters Anna Plott, Betty Gorse, and Rose Dragon. Mary is survived by her son Kenneth Stahl, stepchildren Jennifer Williams and Jeffrey Groff, brother Fred Lehman, sister-in-law Diane Geib, grandchildren Stephanie Stahl, Tony Stahl, Stacy Shinn, and Shaun McKain, plus many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

Private memorial and interment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be held. Memorial Contributions may be made to Paramount Senior Living 2760 Maytown Road, Maytown, PA 17550 where Mary made many friends with residents and staff.
