Marian G. Heisey

Marian G. Heisey, 80, of Lancaster, passed away on September 25, 2023 at Mennonite Home Communities after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late William and Mary Showers Getz of Lititz.

Marian was preceded in death by her husband John A. Heisey Sr. and her sister Judie Sowers. She is survived by her children and many extended family and friends who will miss her deeply, including Kurt Long, Mike Long (Diana), Jodi Fogel (Eric), Juli (Lenny Noble), Deborah Heisey, Pamela Wilson, brother-in-law Doug Sowers, grandchildren Nicole, Nathan, Megan, Brady, Brody, and several great grandchildren.

Marian was a 1960 graduate of Warwick High School and a former member of the Lititz Moravian Church and Ross Street United Methodist Church. After raising her children, she worked as a secretary for Derck & Edson before retiring many years ago. She loved her family most and will be forever remembered for her caring heart and kindness to others.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
