Lynne Norris

Lynne Norris, 52 of 616 South West End Avenue Lancaster, died peacefully at home on Monday, April 19, 2010.
Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Howard Coleman Hilton of Lititz and the late Shirley V. Schofield Hilton. Lynne grew up in the Gap area and graduated from Octorara High School in 1975. She worked many years for Lancaster Newspapers until her illness. Earlier in her life, she was a faithful active volunteer as a paramedic for the West End and Gordonville Fire Companies. Lynne taught First Aid and CPR through the local Red Cross Agency and the Fire Companies. She was of the Lutheran Faith. An avid reader she read and wrote poetry that was published. She enjoyed calligraphy.
Surviving in addition to her father is a son, Timothy Norris of Lancaster, a daughter, Katelyn Norris of Lancaster, two sisters: Ann C. wife of Christopher R. Gabel of Leavenworth, Kansas, Gail H. Givler of Lancaster and four nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service from the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square Manheim on Monday, April 26, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Joyce Madeira officiating. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
