Lois S. Bruckhart

November 24, 1944 — March 14, 2026

Lois S. Bruckhart, 81, formerly of Penryn, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 14, 2026. She was the devoted wife of J. Richard Bruckhart, with whom she shared almost 62 years of marriage.

Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Elizabeth “Betty” (Snavely) Zeiset.

Lois committed her life to Jesus Christ and was confident in her faith. She was a member of Grace Church of Lititz. Lois loved her husband and family unconditionally, humbly served others, and always had a smile. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, canning and freezing fruits and vegetables, reading, and completing jigsaw puzzles.

While her children were young, Lois was a homemaker and a school bus driver. She was later employed by Bomberger’s Store and Pleasant View Communities.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Jerry Bruckhart, of Holtwood, Dave (Gwen) Bruckhart and Gene (Anne) Bruckhart, both of Manheim, and Beth (Jim) Kramer, of Ormond Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Hunter, Garrett (Camdyn), Jessica (Bryce), and Allison Bruckhart; a great-grandson, Gideon; a brother, Carl (Sarah) Zeiset, of Mount Joy; and sisters, Linda (Marlin) Martin, of Rothsville, and Nancy (Roy) Martin, of Narvon.

A Celebration of Lois’ life will be held on Sunday, March 22, at Grace Church, 501 West Lincoln Avenue, Lititz, PA 17543. Visitation with family will begin at 3:30 PM, followed by a service at 4 PM. A time of food and fellowship will follow. Interment will be held privately in Penryn Cemetery.
