LeRoy H. Monper

LeRoy H. Monper, 88, of Leola, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 15, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Herbert and Anna Tucek Monper. He was the loving husband of Sandra J. Lausch Monper, and they observed their 59th wedding anniversary this past May. LeRoy graduated from Thiel College and received a Master of Retail Management in 1960 from the University of Pittsburgh. He worked 31 years for Sperry New Holland retiring in 1999. LeRoy was a long-time member of Forest Hills Mennonite Church, Leola.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son Mark husband of Donna, of Downingtown, and daughter, Denise wife of Michael Warfel of Lancaster, and seven granddaughter, Rachel and Kristen Monper, Ava Warfel, Ella Warfel Lucerne, Vienne Warfel Fuduli, Eloise Warfel and Elaine Warfel. He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
