Larry S. Beck

  Larry S. Beck, 86, of Manheim, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, June 15, 2025. Born in Manheim, he was the son of the late Elmer and Pearl Ecker Beck. Larry was the loving husband of Carol A. Laudermilch Beck and they would have observed their 66th wedding anniversary in November of this year. Larry worked as a dock worker for Yellow Freight, upon retirement he worked part time for NAPA Auto Parts, Manheim. An avid tennis player, Larry was a member of the Manheim Tennis Club, and participated in the Manheim Men’s Bowling League. He enjoyed riding his moped around Manheim. Larry had a deep passion for anything Disney; and cherished the times he could take his wife, children, and grandchildren to multiple visits each year to Walt Disney World, Florida.

   Surviving in addition to his wife, Carol, are two sons: Steven R. Beck of Manteo, NC, Kerry S. husband of Vicky Beck of Lititz, two daughters: Gwendolyn S. Greer of Manteo, NC, Tammy L. wife of Chad Kramer of Lititz, six grandchildren: Kayla, Jeffrey, Megan, Emilee, Alyssa, Logan, two great grandchildren: Nicholas, Abigail, and one sister, Dolores Mae Soloman of Jacksonville, FL.

   Services for Larry will be private and at the convenience of the family.
