Kevin L. Kreider

August 6, 1963 — June 7, 2026

Manheim

Kevin L. Kreider, 62, of Manheim, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 7, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Lloyd Huber Kreider and the late Mary Alice (Denlinger) Kreider.

Kevin was a graduate of Manheim Central High School, class of 1981. Following high school, he spent his life on the road as an owner/operator truck driver, making a career out of hard work, long miles, and independence. Kevin loved God and his family, and his greatest joy was being involved in the lives and activities of his grandchildren; they held a special place in his big heart and brought out a tenderness in him that everyone could see. He was happiest at the simple moments — showing up, spending time, enjoying baseball, being outdoors, and being present with those he loved. He attended Manheim Brethren in Christ Church.

He is survived by his four sons, Andrew (Laura), of Downingtown, PA, Brandon (Levi Welborn), of Chicago, IL, Colton (Nicole), of Manheim, PA, and Derrick, of Pittsburgh, PA; 5 grandchildren; and his sisters, Marlene (Walter) Zimmerman, of Bradford, PA, Diane (Gerald) Keller, of Midville, GA, Cheryl (James) Rohrer, of Lancaster, PA, and Karen (Dwayne) Peifer, of Kirkwood, PA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Kreider.

A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 20th at Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, PA 17545, with a time to visit with the family at the church from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Private interment will take place in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Kevin’s memory to the Mennonite Disaster Service, 583 Airport Road, Lititz, PA 17543, online at https://mds.org.
