Kenneth R. Estep

Kenneth R. “Ken” Estep, 82, of Elizabethtown, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Jane L. (Fry) Estep, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.

Born in Royalton, he was the son of the late Leo and Margaret (Chestnut) Estep.

Ken was a graduate of Hershey High School and he attended Lancaster Bible College. He first found employment as a carpenter, then went on to start his own company, Estep and Estep, performing plumbing and HVAC work. Ken was a long-time member of Faith Bible Church, Mount Joy, and he enjoyed bird watching and spending time at his cabin in Perry County.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, David (Cindy) Estep and Doug Estep, both of Elizabethtown, a daughter, Laura (Mitch) Swenson, of Minnesota, and two grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 25, at Buch Funeral Home, 21 West Main Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552, with Pastor Shawn Madrid officiating. There will be a time to visit with the family from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow the service at Silver Spring Cemetery.
