Kelly W. Romantic, 57, of Lititz, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister, died peacefully at home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
“My body was filled with cancer, but my heart is full of Jesus. And now, because of my faith, I am healed — rejoicing in heaven with a new, perfect body.”
Born in Lancaster, Kelly was the daughter of Marlene “Cookie” Zimmerman Weiler of Lititz and the late Karl E. Weiler. She was the loving wife of Richard R. “Rick” Romantic, and they would have celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary this May.
Kelly was a 1986 graduate of Warwick High School and continued her education at Millersville University, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.
She was a devoted stay-at-home mom while her children were young. Kelly has also worked at Thomas Farm Market, Neffsville Christian Nursery School, Cornerstone Family Health, and Ephrata Family Eye Care. Everywhere she worked, she cherished her work family. Kelly attended Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church in Lititz.
Kelly’s life was centered on family. She especially treasured “FFF Nights — Forced Family Fun,” which were the highlight of each week. She enjoyed lunches and dinners with friends, family gatherings, weekends in the mountains, vacations, and simply spending time visiting with those she loved. She also loved baking, reading, and doing puzzles.
Special thanks to her husband and family for all they have done, and to the doctors and medical teams at Dr. Evans’ office and Lancaster Cancer Center for the years of compassionate support and care given to Kelly.
Kelly’s life was a living testimony to her unwavering faith and the deep love she had for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of grace, laughter, and steadfast trust in God that will continue to guide and inspire all who knew her.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Rick, and mother, “Cookie” are two daughters: Lynelle J. wife of Fred Mentzer, Jenna N. Lasanta all of Lititz, a son, Jonathan R. Romantic of Ephrata, four grandchildren: Laney, Sadie, Layla, Mateo, and two brothers: Scott husband of Stacy Weiler of Ephrata, Chris husband of Tiffanie Weiler of Lititz.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Kelly’s Celebration of Life Service, at Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, 44 East Orange Street, Lititz, on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Kelly’s memory to: Healing Journey Foundation, C/O Lancaster Cancer Center, 498 Stehman Road, Lancaster, PA 17603.
