Judith L. “Judy” Lilley, 78, of Manheim, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. She was the beloved wife of George L. Lilley, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage.
Born at home in Mount Joy Township, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Irene (Alleman) Groff.
Judy was a graduate of Elizabethtown High School, class of 1965. Over the years she was employed by Wolf’s Sporting Goods, Hamilton Watch Company, and she dedicated many years to Fulton Financial Corporation. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She looked forward to watching and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren when she wasn’t working. She was a member of Mount Hope United Christian Church of Manheim, where she was active with the Mothers & Others group. In her spare time, Judy enjoyed shopping, couponing, and finding ways to save money. She will be remembered for her selflessness and love she gave to others and her kindness and willingness to help those in need.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons, Steve Lilley, of Manheim, Bryan Lilley fiancé of Ann Getz, of Reinholds, and Loren Lilley, of Manheim; grandchildren, Trent Lilley husband of Brandy Lilley, Justin Lilley, Taylor Lilley, and Kayla Himelright wife of Dante Himelright; great-granddaughters, Macie, Brynlee and Harper; a sister, Janet Lehman wife of Dennis Lehman, of Mount Joy; and a brother-in-law, Robert Fulkrod, of Manheim. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Kevin Lilley, a brother, James Groff, sisters, Joyce Fulkrod and Joan Little, and nephews, Rick Fulkrod and David Wolf.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 10th, 2026 at Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, PA 17545, with Pastor Marlin Heagy officiating. Viewings will be held from 6 PM - 8 PM on Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, PA 17545, and again on Friday, April 10th, 2026 at Chiques Church from 10 AM to 11 AM. Interment will follow the service in the adjoining church cemetery. Following the interment, family and friends are welcome to attend a luncheon at Chiques Church.
