Joyce D. Fulkrod

   Joyce D. Fulkrod, 78, of Manheim, died peacefully on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Mount Joy Township, she was the daughter of the late John S. and Irene Alleman Groff. A homemaker, she was the loving wife of Robert L. “Bob” Fulkrod and they would have observed their 60th wedding anniversary in June of this year. Joyce was an active and faithful member of Mount Hope United Christian Church, Manheim. Throughout the years Joyce was a passionate supporter and member of the Mastersonville Fire Company, and she especially enjoyed making the filling for the fire company's annual Pig Roast.  She enjoyed singing and making all types of crafts. Joyce had a deep, devotion to her family; and cherished all the time she could spend with her husband, children, and grandchildren. 

   Surviving in addition to her husband Robert, is a son, Randy L. husband of Daisey Fulkrod of Manheim, two daughters: Robin L. wife of Jeffrey Clugston of Lititz, Courtney L. Brake Bailey of Bainbridge, eleven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two sisters: Judy wife of George Lilley of Manheim, Janet wife of Dennis Lehman of Mount Joy. Preceding her in death is a son, Richard “Rick” Fulkrod, a sister, Joan Little, and a brother, James Groff. 

  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Joyce’s funeral service, at Chiques Church, 4045 Sunnyside Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 2:30 PM. There will be a viewing on Monday evening at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with additional viewing at the church on Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 PM until the time of the service. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
