Herbert R. Tshudy

Herbert R. “Herb” Tshudy, 92, of Manheim, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2026 at Juniper Village, Mount Joy. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Roland and Anna Meck Tshudy. Herb was the loving husband of the late Madeline R. Royer Tshudy who passed away last year. He was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Mount Joy. Herb was an electrician for IBEW Local 743. He enjoyed traveling, hunting and fishing. Herb proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Surviving are two sons, Michael husband of Jennie Tshudy of Mount Joy, Mark Tshudy of Lancaster, and two grandchildren, Matthew Tshudy, Becky Akers, two great grandchildren, Connor and Jackson and one great great grandson, Zander. Herbert was preceded in death by his sister, Helen Landis.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Herb’s Memorial Service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Tuesday, November 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM. There will be a time of visitation from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Herb’s memory to St. Marks’s United Methodist Church, 37 East Main Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552.
