Helen Brubaker Blank, 100, of Sumner, Maine, died Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Montello Manor, Lewiston, Maine.
A native of Lancaster, she was born January 30, 2026; the daughter of the late Carl and Alma (Eshleman) Brubaker.
Helen was a 1944 graduate of McCaskey High School. Following high school, she was employed at Armstrong Linoleum working in the lab. Later in life she was a docent at Wheatland and The Ephrata Cloisters. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manheim.
Helen was married for 62 years to The Reverend Paul B, Blank, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are her three children: P. Michael and (Sheryl Tucker) Blank of Sumner, Maine; Linda S. Blank and (Joseph Finigan) of San Bruno, California; and The Reverend David M. Blank and (Judith Cole) Blank of Rockford, Michigan; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and sisters Nancy Fries, Judith Fries and Sandra Weinholdt. Helen was preceded in death by her sister Phyllis Kirsch.
A celebration of life service for Helen will held on Saturday, June 26, 2027 at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2 South Hazel Street, Manheim, at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2 South Hazel Street, Manheim, PA. 17545.
