Grace E. Fink, 94, of 20 North Penn Street Manheim died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Lancaster General Hospital.
Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Agnes Hurst Miller. In her early years Grace worked for the former Staleys Silk Mill in Lancaster.
She was the loving wife of the late Samuel E. Fink who died in December of 1994. Grace was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church Manheim. Her interests included flowers of all types and watching and feeding the birds in her backyard. Grace loved animals through out her life; she especially enjoyed taking care of her pet parakeet, and her Samoyed and Keeshond dogs.
Surviving is a son, Ronald C. Fink Sr. of Lititz, two daughters: Peggy A. Frysinger of Lititz, Sharon L. Persing of Harrisburg, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Preceding her in death is a half brother, Charles Sonny Nixdorf, a daughter-in-law, Teresa E. Hertz Fink, two son-in-laws: Raymond H. Frysinger, George F. Persing and a grand-daughter-in-law, Cindy Frysinger.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service from the Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church 48 Market Square Manheim on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at 2:30 PM with Pastor Jeffrey C. Schell officiating. Interment is in Manheim Fairview Cemetery Penn Township. There will be a public viewing at the church on Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 PM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Graces memory to the Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church 48 Market Square Manheim, PA 17545 or the Humane League Of Lancaster 2195 Lincoln Highway East Lancaster, PA 17602.
