Gerald Lee Schrawder

Gerald Lee Schrawder, 76, of Lancaster passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, April 5, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Frank S. and Frances Rothenberger Schrawder. Gerald graduated from Manheim Central High School in 1967 and from Penn State University in 1971 with an Art Teaching Degree. He taught for two years before becoming a skilled carpenter in the building industry. Gerald was a lifetime member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Manheim and he volunteered for the Landis Valley Farm Museum. He enjoyed hiking and visiting Mount Gretna.

He is survived by a step-daughter, Laura Kunde of Denver, CO, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene D. Schrawder.

Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Gerald’s memory to St. Paul’s UCC, P.O. Box 129, Manheim, PA 17545.
