Genevieve E. Snyder

Genevieve E. Snyder, 93, of Lititz, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at UPMC, Lititz. Born in Maple Grove, she was the daughter of the late J. Enos and Edith Zeimer Sweitzer. She was the wife of the late Ray W. Snyder who died in 1996. Genevieve graduated from Shillington High School and received her BS in Home Economics from Albright College. She retired as a Home Economics Teacher at Cocalico High School. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Penryn and was active with the Lititz Springs Chapter O.E.S. Growing up on a vegetable farm, Genevieve enjoyed attending farmer markets in the Reading and Shillington areas.

Surviving are two daughters, Renee Snyder of Iselin, NJ and Yvonne McLaughlin-Boylan wife of Christopher of Lebanon, two grandsons, Collin and Erik and a sister, Linda Sweitzer of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Sweitzer.

Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
