Genevieve E. "Jenny" Kushner

Jesus said “Where I am there you shall be also,” and being true to his word, He called Genevieve, His devoted daughter home to be with Him for all eternity on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Brethren Village Retirement Community, Lititz. Genevieve was 84 years of age. Born in Keyser, WV, she was the daughter of the late Edward E. and Annie E. Thorne Rotruck. She was the loving wife of Joseph T. Kushner for over 64 years.

Genevieve worked at National Bearings for over 20 years; and was a member of Ruhl’s Church, Manheim, where she sang in the choir for many years. She also volunteered for Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. She loved creating ceramics, especially the “Old Time Santa Figurines.” Both Jenny and her husband Joe had a life-long love of helping and adopting pets throughout their life providing a loving home for them.

Surviving in addition to her wonderful husband and best friend Joe, is a nephew, Eddie Fisher of Orlando, FL., and a niece, Debbie Fisher of Charles Town, WV. Preceding her in death is a sister, Wanda Fisher.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Jenny’s graveside service at Ruhl’s Cemetery, 4810 Elizabethtown Road, Manheim, on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM.
