Gary E. Seachrist

Gary Eugene Seachrist, 77, of East Petersburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Born in Lancaster, he is the son of Betty Kissinger Grant and the late Eugene W. Seachrist. He graduated from Manheim Central High School in 1967. In his early years, he did woodworking and cabinetry. He then turned his hobby of antiques into his occupation as an antiques dealer, mainly of historic Lancaster County pottery. He was a lifelong avid reader, a passion he shared with his mother.

Surviving in addition to his mother, is his son Kevin Seachrist, his daughter, Jamie Seachrist, his 3 grandchildren, Lucas Herb, Keira Lange and Kael Lange, his brother, Gerald Seachrist, and his 6 nieces and nephews, Dale Secker, Russ Secker, Pam Levitan, Jeremy Seachrist, Ariele Seachrist, and Jill Townsend. He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Seachrist and sister, Lynne Tindall.

Funeral services will be held privately by the family at a later time.
