Frederick T. Johnson

 Frederick T. Johnson, 86, formerly of Steelton, died peacefully, Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Oak Hill Village, Middletown. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary B. Johnson. Fred proudly served in the U.S. Navy, and worked as a procurement officer at Mechanicsburg Naval Depot. He enjoyed taking hikes to enjoy nature, and splitting wood. 

  Surviving are two sons, Wayne (Maria) Johnson, Marietta PA, Thomas (Andrea) Johnson, Durham, NC; four grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

  Services at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery will be private.
