Fred L. Witmer

Fred L. Witmer, 59, of Lancaster, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Heart of Lancaster Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was the loving husband of the late Marilyn J. Leister Witmer who died in December of 2008. Fred worked for Exide Technologies Lancaster. He was a member of the American Order of Otters Club Lancaster. His interests included: bowling, darts, shuffleboard, attending the Lancaster Barnstormers Games, and rooting for his favorite teams: Steelers, Orioles, and Phillies.
Surviving is a step daughter, Connie L. wife of Larry L. Duvall Jr. of Lancaster, and two step grandsons: Brandon and Nathan Duvall.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend a graveside service at Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 Second Lock Road, Lancaster, on Monday, March 4, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
