Floyd C. Phillips

   Floyd C. Phillips, 87, a life-long resident of Manheim, died peacefully on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the Lebanon Veterans Administration Medical Center. Born in Mechanicsburg, he was the son of the late Charles and Ella Young Phillips. Floyd was the companion of Cindy Witmer who was his kind and compassionate caretaker for over 37 years. Floyd retired from the former Raymark Industries, Manheim, following over 40 years of employment. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He loved carpentry work and was an avid reader.

   Surviving in addition to his companion Cindy, are two daughters: Lorretta Phillips, Georgina Phillips, a granddaughter, Shannon, a sister Shirley Freed Golden and a brother, Herbert Freed. Preceding him in death are two sisters: Mae E. Eckert and Dorothy Young.
