Ella H. Nauman

Ella H. Nauman, 93, of Manheim passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, July 7, 2025 at Pleasant View Communities, Manheim. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Rebecca Hertzler Bauman. She was the loving wife of the late J. Richard Nauman who died in 2014. Ella was a member of Hernley Mennonite Church, Manheim. A wonderful homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving are three daughters, Janice E. wife of Jerry L. Snavely of Manheim, Jean L. wife of Kenneth S. Hershey of Rochester, MN and Jane L. wife of Dennis A. Getz; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great great granddaughters, a sister, Mabel Dagen of Lititz, and a brother-in-law, Glenn Nauman of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Bauman and two sisters, Vera Nauman and Verna Leaman.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the kind and compassionate care given to Ella by the staff of Pleasant View Communities and Hospice For All Seasons.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Ella’s Memorial Service at Pleasant View Communities, Hoffer Auditorium, 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service. Private interment at Hernley Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in Ella’s memory to Pleasant View Communities, Benevolent Care Endowment Fund, 544 North Penryn Road, Manheim, PA 17545.
