Edna B. Sides

Edna B. Sides, 98, of Manheim passed away peacefully on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Katie George Brown. She was the loving wife of the late John A. Sides who died in 2009. Retired in 1979, Edna worked at the former Bedford Shoe Company, Lititz for 25 years. She was a member of Mount Joy Church of God, Manheim VFW Post 5956 Ladies Auxiliary and Red Rose Ramblers Camping Association. Her interests included knitting, crocheting and she loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving are two sons, John S. husband of Ethel Wiggins Sides, Terry L. husband of Edna Dagen Sides both of Manheim, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Brown and a sister, Mary Brown.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private at Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster.
