Dorothy M. "Dot" Warner, 90, of Summersville, West Virginia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Hamilton Arms Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Born in Duck, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Ellen Wiseman.
Dot was a devoted Christian whose faith guided her throughout her life. She found great joy in teaching Sunday School, working in the church office, and spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and love of creating beautiful handmade items. Her hobbies included cross-stitching, rug making, and sewing, and she delighted in sharing her talents with those she loved.
Dot is survived by her son, Terry Warner of Bridgeport, West Virginia; her daughter, Kim Peters and her husband, Dean, of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Darlie Norton of Nutter Fort, West Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gene Warner; her brother, Lantie Wiseman; and her sister, Merle Fridley.
Dot will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for her family, and the warmth and kindness she shared with everyone who knew her.
Funeral Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
