Dorothy M. “Dottie” Rosenquist, 96, of Lititz, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, died peacefully on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Legend of Lititz. Born in Teaneck, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George B. and Dorothy Snyder Pierson. Dottie was the loving wife of the late Edward O. Rosenquist who died in December of 2016 following 66 years of marriage. Dottie retired from the Warwick School District where she was employed as the High School Library Assistant for many years; previously, she worked at the Farmers First Bank, Lititz, and at Alcoa Aluminum, in Edgewater, NJ. She was an active and faithful member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lititz. Throughout her life Dottie was involved in helping in her community with memberships with the Lititz Lioness Club where she was the recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award from Lions Club International for her dedicated work in her community. She also was a Girl Scout Leader in the Lititz area, a passionate and dedicated volunteer and leader at the Lititz Public Library, and was a Youth Leader at St. Lukes United Church of Christ, Lititz, in her early years. Dottie’s interests included: crafts, knitting, counted cross stitch, sewing, flower gardening and was an avid reader. She had a deep passion for her family and cherished any time she could spend with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters: Lorraine A. “Lorrie” wife of Harry Wink of Lititz, Joanne wife of David Bini of East Windsor, NJ, a son, Edward “Skip” husband of Yvonne Rosenquist of Calabash, NC, five grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Preceding her in death is a sister, Barbara Van Horn.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Dottie’s funeral service at the Buch Funeral Home, 216 South Broad Street, Lititz, on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 11:00 AM. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Saturday, morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Lititz Moravian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Dottie’s memory to: Lititz Public Library, 651 Kissel Road, Lititz 17543.
