Dorothy L. "Dottie" Fuhrman

Dorothy L. “Dottie” Fuhrman, 98, of Manheim, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Pleasant View Communities, Manheim. Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Esther Shreiner Hershey. Dottie was the loving wife of the late Robert A. Fuhrman who passed away in 2008. She worked in the cafeteria for the Manheim Central School District and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim. Dottie was a volunteer at Nearly-Nu Thrift Shop, Manheim and a cook for Meals on Wheels, Manheim. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

Surviving are two daughters, Terry E. wife of Rich Engle of Manheim, Kathleen Cantrell Nutter wife of Thomas Nutter of Lititz, a son, Doug R. Fuhrman fiancé of Lisa Robertson of Lititz, five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a brother, Robert Hershey of Wrightsville, and three sisters, Patricia Ibach of Manheim, Darlene Glass of Reading, and Sandra Travitz of Manheim. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Thomas Cantrell, two grandchildren, Cary and Jennifer Cantrell, and a brother, Richard Hershey.
