David Ochner Jr., 42, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026. Born in Orange County CA. Resided in Manheim, PA. A 2001 graduate of Kings Park High School. He was a devoted father, brother, and friend whose presence filled every room with energy and life.
David is survived by his three beloved children, David III, Emily, & Julie, his father David Sr. along with a large and loving family that includes his brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Hagzan Ochner. He was deeply connected to his family and took pride in always being there when someone needed him.
A skilled mechanic by trade, owned ASAP AUTO, David had a gift for fixing just about anything he put his hands on. Whether it was a car, a household problem, or a tough situation, people knew they could count on him to figure it out. He was a volunteer and member of St. Richard Catholic Church, Manheim.
He was known for his clever mind, his talkative nature, embellished stories, and his magnetic personality. David loved to dance, ride, laugh, and enjoy life to the fullest. He had a way of making people feel seen and cared for, often putting others before himself. He carried a strong sense of confidence and truly embraced who he was.
David will be remembered for his big heart, his vibrant spirit, and the joy he brought to those around him. He will be forever missed and is deeply loved by all who knew him.
Now on his forever vacation.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend David’s Prayer Service at the Buch Funeral Home, 21 Market Square, Manheim on Sunday, May 10, 2025 at 5:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the time of service. A Mass of Christian Burial with take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 318 Plane Street, Weatherly, PA on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Interment in Union Cemetery, Weatherly, PA.
