David M. Gelatt

David M. Gelatt, 55, of Lancaster passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Scranton, he was the son of Carl Gelatt of New York and Leanne Nowell Porterfield of Lititz. He was the loving husband of Kevin D. Peters and they would have observed their 10th wedding anniversary in September. David worked in the communications field. His interests included gardening, singing, cooking and baking.

Surviving in addition to his husband and parents is a brother, Daniel Gelatt of Lititz.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend David’s Memorial Service at the Buch Funeral Home 21 Market Square, Manheim on Monday, March 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Per family’s request, please dress casual and wear green. Interment will be private. David’s Service will be live-streamed on the Buch Funeral Home website. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may send contributions in David’s memory to Hospice & Community Care, P.O.
